Monkberry Moon Delight is new earthy original 36 x 12 inch acrylic original painting on a gallery wood canvas. I enjoyed the song Monkberry Moon Delight while working on this piece and it seems to sit well as a title. I came across the song while listening to the album RAM. It was one of those rare times that I liked the song on the first listen and a reminder to me there are little surprises out there in the world that can be discover spontaneously. The technique I used in creating this painting calls for a measure of trust in the process, I am relying on happy accidents and effects. Also, the painting feels like it could be illuminated by the moon, and that's delightful.
