River Study #3

When I'm in my kayak and the wind and light is right the surface of the water can look like a trippy lamp display of concentric circles and distinct ribbons of contrast. It fascinates me and is another way nature blows my mind with its beautiful designs. Trippy River Reflections have been a favourite subject for my large paintings and I'm exploring the theme on a small gallery wood 6 x 6 surfaces. They have a 1.5 inch profile painted black and will be finished with a satin varnish that protects the artwork from UV light. They are ready to hang or sit for display in your home. A great reminder of days on the water and the wonders all around us.
