Rural Landscape

Rural Landscape was painted in acrylic on a gold leafed background. I'm trying to capture that band of light on the horizon you see in late day light. It always draws my eye and feels so hopeful.

The sides are natural wood with a varnish applied. This painting will look different depending on the light because of the reflective base.
