I couldn't help using the epic and grandiose title "The Battle for Evermore" for this new original. It's a little tongue in cheek of course. I'm trying not to take the act of painting so seriously I don't have some fun along the way. There is a battle going on, finding the lightness in life and not get to weighed down with all of the doom and gloom. There seems to be all too much of that these days. It's good to be aware and to do what you can and I need reminders. As I painted this piece I listened to The Battle for Evermore on repeat as you do when creating a flow or a meditative trance. Do what works for you. This one is 30 x 30 inches and is painted in acrylic on a stretched gallery canvas.
