The annual MAG Studio Tour is just under a month away. I always want to have my latest work for the show. It's always fun to see the reactions people may have about what I'm working on at the time. I seem to want to go contemporary retro. I love the look of a sun faded scene and this idea has so much to explore. Simple pleasures and ideas related to summer have my attention. Whether it be fireflies, sun refections on the water, clouds threatening to bring a summer storm, I'm all in.
Look for my new paintings on the Studio Tour at Stop #3. I'll be at joining Fiona Macintyre in her studio at 330 Main Street East, in Merrickville. Vanda Stanley of Honeyfield Studio will be joining too. See you October 5 & 6.
