Things are shifting in the studio as I start to plan and prepare for up coming art shows in our busy little village. Perivale Gallery has picked up a big haul of my original artwork for their Gallery in Spring Bay on Manitoulin Island, I have a floral collection ready to hang at the Iron Forge in Merrickville May 5th, I have my Rideau River painting almost complete to submit to The Boathouse Cafe's new exhibit celebrating local landscapes and I'm thinking what I'd like to paint for the Festival of the Arts happening in Merrickville July 26 and 27. Then a little breathing space before the MAG Studio Tour. This year it will take place September 27 and 28 and I'll be at The Boathouse for it's first time participating on the tour. Last year we held the Studio Tour Vernissage at The Boathouse to kick things off and it went over beautifully. The Boathouse Cafe is located at 646 River Road.
