Building a Mystery

This one came to me after a prolonged period of painting. I had it in my head and was very happy to work it out on the canvas. Anyone out there experience the sunset over a river in Ontario? The inspiration comes from living on and spending time on the mighty St. Lawrence River and the Rideau River. The painting is 48 inches by 24 inches on a stretched gallery (1.5 inch profile) canvas. The painting is an original created with acrylics. It's bright but peaceful.
