Feels Like Going Home

It just so happens I was listening to Blue Rodeo while painting this original artwork and the lyrics for "Hasn't Hit Me Yet" hit me and I felt it. This painting took me on a journey. It started off as a quiet river painting in gentle blues and creams evolved into something very dynamic and multicoloured. I brought it back to a striking yet harmonious state after it ventured off into a full on colour riot. 

I like where is landed and felt like dancing so I did.
