Refections on the River (local delivery or pick up only)

After the first paddle of the season I came home with this image in my head. It was of one of those days when the surface of the river is like glass. The canal hasn't opened and there are no boats travelling up and down to the locks. All is quiet out there except for the red winged black birds, the geese and the occasional loon. I feel like this painting is capturing a moment and I don't want to add to it for fear of dampening it's light and peaceful energy. It's of a time when everything is rather delicate and waking up after the winter season.
