Rolling on the River

Being out on the water in my kayak is calming and helps centre my spirit. I always feel better for going out for a paddle and the feeling lingers and becomes inspiration for my paintings. 

Rolling on the River is a playfully reflective original painting on a 20 x 20 inch stretched gallery canvas. The underpainting plays a big part in the creativity of this one of a kind. 

20 x 20 Acrylic on canvas

1.5 inch sides are painted with a dark blue black and the work has a satin varnish finish.

Also pictured below is the underpainting so you can see what lies under the river's surface.
