Summer Haze

Being out on the water in my kayak is calming and helps centre my spirit. I always feel better for going out for a paddle and the feeling lingers and becomes inspiration for my paintings. 

When the heat rises the place to be is on the water in the Summer Haze. This original painting is a moment held in time and a reminder of the hazy day spent on the river.

Original acrylic painting in a contemporary impressionistic style on a 24 x 48 inch stretched gallery canvas. Ontario Rivers are the source inspiration. Thousand Islands, St. Lawrence River and the Rideau Canal/Rideau River.
