Come out and enjoy the beautiful weather at the MAG Studio Tour. I'll be joining Fiona Macintyre and Vanda Stanley at Fiona's Silversmith Studio, 330 Main Street East in Merrickville.  What you will find? Beautiful original jewellery designs by Fiona, handmade functional pottery by Vanda of Honeyfield studio and a variety of new original paintings by me. Water scenes, floral and fall landscapes painted in acrylic and oils. Hope to see you next weekend!    

Thanks everyone who came out to the studio tour this year. It was good to make the switch from the usual solitary painting in my studio to meeting and speaking with so many people. Many paintings found their news homes and in my mind new ideas are being formed for future works in the coming months.

The annual MAG Studio Tour is just under a month away. I always want to have my latest work for the show. It's always fun to see the reactions people may have about what I'm working on at the time. I seem to want to go contemporary retro. I love the look of a sun faded scene and this idea has so much to explore. Simple pleasures and ideas related to summer have my attention. Whether it be fireflies, sun refections on the water, clouds threatening to bring a summer storm, I'm all in.  Look for my new paintings on...
